HOPS (Henley Outdoor Playscheme)

is a fun, exciting week of activities at the beginning of the summer holidays for children aged 6-11 inclusive.

Established over 40 years ago, HOPS provides hours of activities to keep your children busy and happy

from 9am - 3pm

  • The only thing children will need to bring is a packed lunch (PLEASE NO NUTS!).

  • We suggest maximum £1 per day for the tuck shop.

  • possibly bring a change of clothes if doing foam slide etc. but PLEASE make sure everything is named/labelled.

  • if your child has any medical or special needs, please bring a copy of the form on the first day.

Our qualified nurse attends every day and can administer first aid as well as any medications your child may need, with your permission.

Several of us are first-aid trained, plus several of our Play Helpers have first aid qualifications.

Activities may include sports, arts, crafts, woodworking, sewing, animal encounters, festival room, henna tattoos, bouncy castlesdance classes and more, all included in the value-for-money day rate.

HOPS is run by a team of local volunteers, and is a long-established and popular Henley tradition.

If your child has a medical or other condition that you feel may impact their time at HOPS, please fill in the relevant form.

This does not affect your application, but ensures we cater properly for your child.  Please contact us on the email address above for more information.
